Bring Mooz-Lum To Your City!

Synopsis: Amid a strict Muslim rearing and a social life he's never had, Tariq enters college confused. New peers, family and mentors help him find his place, but the 9-11 attacks force him to face his past and make the biggest decisions of his life.

I really love the direction that Evan Ross is taking in his acting career. He seems to choose his parts wisely. He is making a mature blueprint for someone so young and fairly new to the business. I hope to be able to see this film. Being that my town is not exactly the hot spot for receiving events such as this, I am hoping to get my hands on a copy as soon as it hit DVD/Blu-Ray status.

It has a solid cast, and strong plot that I am sure many young Muslims dealt with shortly after 9/11. I think this will be really informative, and also give people another eye opener on how things are going still here in America post 9/11. If you are fortunate enough to catch it in your city, make sure you blast how it was and encourage others to see it!

  1. "MOOZ-LUM" is a unique film; a sensitive and emotional movie that deals with one of the most important issues of our time: being Muslim in America. Evan Ross and Nia Long, especially, give memorable performances. Bravo, "Q" Basir!
